Hello from the lighthouse....

It has been a while; I know. But life, as they say, has been Life-Ing a lot. A messy and chaotic combination of my normal health battles, mixed with the unexpected loss of some dear friends, uncertain directions and reminding myself to take breaks from the social media world, and engage with the real one more.
Although in truth, I am not writing from a lighthouse, though that would be cool. The Fall/Winter seasons have always been a lighthouse, so to speak, to me. Which made using the photo of the stairs, from the lighthouse I visited in Oregon years back, seem fitting.
It seems I always come back to my blog as we approach the ber-months and the fall/winter season. Mostly, this is because I find life much easier to handle through these seasons. I am more naturally hopeful, and gratitude is always easier for me as well. But now that I have completed some major projects I had deadlines for, I am freed up to return to the blog more before September (yay).
I just completed the last of four books in my Seasons rhyming children's series, so I’m excited about that. They are all available online. I am also about to start recording the audio and video for Confessions of an Average Girl (which is my memoir about my journey with chronic illness) next week. I will tell you more about that soon, as I will be sharing clips leading up to the release.
For now, I hope you have all had a great summer and that life has not been too hard on you.
Be Honest, Be Real, Be You
Eternally addicted to hope!
