"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." – Anne Shirley (From the 1908 book: Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery

First, I had nearly forgotten how much I loved Anne of Green Gables until I re-read it. I also love the film versions with Megan Follows. it is the perfect kickoff to fall.
I was happy for September because it is one of the ber months and it is technically fall. But it was still warmer in September, so I have moved the bulk of my excitement for fall into October and November. I’ve always loved fall because it’s the lead-up to Christmas. But now I truly love it for itself. The colors, the rain, the smells, the pumpkins — everything. It’s just a beautiful and magical time of year.
So I will allow myself (finally lol) to use mobility aids as needed to actually try to do some things outside of the house. And get some new pictures and things to post. None of the things I do will be long, but they can still be fun. And there are also lot of things I can still do inside. Make fall treats, movie nights, fun with pumpkins etc.
I plan to make it to at least one pumpkin patch and to carve pumpkins. But I also want to spend as much time with my sweet Lainey Bug as possible. Since her brother crossed the rainbow bridge in June, she has been a lot sadder and clingier. She is doing much better, but I don’t want to miss any moments of time with her.
So for now, I wish you all the best in October, and I pray we all get to experience better things this month. I will post more when I’ve gotten out and taken some pics. I will have some of my pumpkins I've carved through the years on my FB author page closer to Halloween lol.
HAPPY OCTOBER!!!!
