Random thoughts of the day....

Sometimes the road ahead of me is paved with footprints going in a million different directions. Which way do I go? How do I know which footprint is the one I’m supposed to follow? I pause, I decide to look not at the footprints but at what I know. What I know is none of the footprints are mine. Not one footprint I see belongs to my boots. So, I put one foot in front of the other and make my own path. Learning that my path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. I might use the other footprints as a guide, but my path is mine alone and that's beautiful and okay. There is such beauty in realizing being you is the best gift you can give to anything.
