Updates... May 2023

I will be posting two blog stories soon (not at the same time) "My Attic" and "The Magic Gate" I'm excited about those because they give you a much clearer image of how my imagination works and the type of person I am.

I am super excited to be going to check out an amazing venue this week for Confessions of an average girl chapter readings/Q&A. Would love to have the book release party at the same location if it all works out, more on that in the coming months. The chapter readings/Q&A event will be coming up much sooner!

Had to deal with a couple not so lovely waves of sickness in which my hubby has been sick also (which is extremely rare) so we are recovering from the second round of that now. I'm not a summer person but it's much easier to stay well in the summer so I'm going to lean more into enjoying the summer season this year and pray the temps stay below 100.

I have a fall children's picture book coming out hopefully in Aug or Sept "Fall is my favorite season of all" if we can get an illustrator and artwork done in time. The written part of the book is already complete, edited, and ready to go. So I will announce that and pre-orders if we get the illustrations in on time.

Lots of exciting things happening parallel to major struggles so like all things in life it's learning to navigate those together. I always choose to keep my focus on the better things and take the harder stuff like waves that roll over and move on.

I'm excited to share more with you over the next weeks and months. I cannot believe it is already almost the end of May!!!!
